Straw Dogs [Blu-ray Special Edition - Italian Release]

David Vanner is a young American professor who, with his wife Amy, takes refuge in a small house in the English countryside, on the edge of a village, to follow his mathematics studies for which he has won a bag. Not happy with the choice is the very young consort, who begins to flirt with four young people from the country. The woman is raped by both Charlie and her friend Norman, but of the incident she says nothing to the husband whose mild character she knows and despises. The same evening in the village, Harry Nice unwittingly kills a silly teenager who had lightly provoked him. The girl disappeared, Tom, her father, Charlie and her friends begin a fierce hunt for the murderer who, fleeing the fog, is involuntarily injured by David's car. The American,against Amy's worth, she hospitalizes the man in her own home. Shortly thereafter, drunk, Tom and his companions come to claim Harry's delivery. Closed at home, David does not give in to intimations. A massacre follows: the mild professor kills all the assailants one after the other.
