The Cannonball Run Collection [Arow Video Limited Edition 4K UHD]

Inspired by the experiences of Needham and writer Brock Yates in a real-life transcontinental auto race, The Cannonball Run sees JJ McClure (Reynolds) and Victor Prinzim (Dom De Luise) as contestants in a free-for-all scramble to see who can drive across America from sea to shining sea in the shortest time possible. No rules, no regulations: fastest time wins. Disguising a Dodge van as an ambulance, complete with doctor (Jack Elam) and patient (Farrah Fawcett) to ward off state troopers trying to stop them from speeding, JJ and Victor head off on a mad-cap dash for the finish line against a star-studded cast of wacky racers! A smash hit on release, it was followed by a sequel in which the competitors returned to race again and see who could take the trophy.
